Abstract
Education, as one of the cornerstones of society, plays a critical role in shaping future generations. In this context, the management approach applied in schools directly impacts the quality and effectiveness of education. In particular, teachers are one of the groups that best observe and evaluate the effects of management styles in schools on education since they are at the forefront of the education process. In this study, the implementation of the democratic management approach in schools, from the teachers' perspective, is discussed in terms of teachers' demographic factors such as gender, age and professional seniority. The descriptive method designed in the relational scanning model was used in the research. The research population consists of teachers working in public schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in the 2023-2024 academic year. The study was conducted with 479 teachers who participated in the research. A survey was used to enable teachers to evaluate the democratic management approach in their schools, and the data collection process was completed. The data were evaluated by descriptive analysis, and frequency and variance analyses were performed. According to the research results, it was concluded that teachers generally adopted the democratic management approach in their schools. The perspective in question differs significantly according to demographic characteristics.
